Microgreens are miniature herbs and vegetables. Large numbers are grown closely together in small containers and they are eaten when they are just sprouting. Sprouts are grown in water in jars. Both contain all of the concentrated goodness of the seeds they grow from and eating sprouts and microgreens in salads, stir fries and all sorts of ways is great for getting lots of nutrients on a budget and without the need for a garden or even a pot of soil.
As long as you have sun and water, you can grow sprouts and microgreens. Come and find out how!
Bring a water bottle, hat and we'll provide the rest. You'll take home some micro greens and sprouts to try growing (and eating!).
