Join us for a relaxing Matcha & Ceramic Painting Workshop in Canberra. Learn how to prepare your own matcha, then slow down and paint a ceramic mug or matcha bowl in a cozy indoor setting.
Perfect for a peaceful solo morning, a creative catch-up with friends, or a slow weekend activity.
Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
September Classes
📅 Saturday, 26 Sep — Downer Community Centre
October Classes
📅 Saturday, 10 October — Salthouse Community Centre
📅 Saturday, 17 October — The Pearce Community Centre
📅 Saturday, 31 October — Tuggeranong Community Centre
What You’ll Experience:
We’ll begin with a gentle introduction to matcha — what it is, where it comes from, and how it has been enjoyed throughout history.
You’ll then learn how to prepare your own matcha and enjoy a calm moment together before moving into the creative part of the workshop.
During the second part of the session, you’ll choose your own ceramic piece — a mug or a matcha bowl — and bring your design to life using beautiful colours and simple painting techniques.
No experience is needed.
This workshop is completely beginner-friendly, and we’ll guide you through each step.
