Join the Impala Dance Group for a powerful and immersive cultural experience celebrating the history and significance of First Nations dance in Australia. Through storytelling, live performance, and demonstration, learn when these dances were used, how they were performed, and why they remain so important today—with audiences invited to join in.
Led by David, whose deep knowledge and experience are shared alongside his sons, this show‑stopping workshop concludes with a hands‑on food tasting experience. Enjoy freshly handmade damper and traditional jam while discovering the history of how and why these foods were made, bringing culture, movement, and connection together through shared experience.
This session is delivered as part of the 'All In' Reconciliation Science School Holiday Program and is suitable for children 5 years and up. Parental or guardian supervision is required for all children under 10 years of age.
