Sydney Writers Festival stream - Christos Tsiolkas - Batemans Bay Library

About

It was the slap heard around the country.

In this edition of the literary podcast Secret Life of Books, hosts Jonty Claypole and Sophie Gee speak with writer Christos Tsiolkas about his Booker Prize–longlisted novel The Slap. Adapted for tv in both Australia and the US, this contemporary epic about the social and moral lines dividing suburbia is a daring modern classic.

Join Christos with Jonty and Sophie as they discuss the iconic Australian story and its position within Christos’s wider literary career.
