Duke of George presents
Michael Vdelli and The Art of Dysfunction
Modern Blues-Rock | Perth, Western Australia
THIS IS A GENERAL ADMISSION EVENT ONLY - NO ASSIGNED OR RESERVED TABLES
Following a celebrated international career, Michael Vdelli returns with his most personal and uncompromising project to date — Michael Vdelli And The Art Of Dysfunction.
Blending blues-rock tradition with a modern, cinematic edge, the band delivers music that is raw, atmospheric, and emotionally charged. Their sound is built on expressive guitar work, dynamic arrangements, and a commitment to feel over flash — where tone, space, and storytelling take centre stage.
Fronted by Vdelli (vocals/guitar), the lineup features Michael Menna (guitar), Royce Mack (drums) and Kelly John McCarthy (bass) — a group of seasoned musicians combining technical ability with a contemporary sensibility.
In 2026, the band unveiled their debut releases “Things Inside” and “You And The Blues”, establishing a sound that is both grounded in blues heritage and forward-looking in its execution.
Early responses have highlighted the band’s ability to balance grit and atmosphere with authenticity and emotional depth.
Vdelli’s career spans more than three decades, including performances at major international festivals such as Sweden Rock Festival, and sharing stages with icons including B.B. King, Buddy Guy, ZZ Top, and George Thorogood.
