JACOTéNé announces her first-ever headline tour of Australia this November, marking a major milestone in a breakout year that's seen the Melbourne-born, London-based singer-songwriter land an ARIA nomination for Why'd You Do That? and a nomination for the ELLE Next Generation Award for Music.
“This is a really full-circle moment for me,” says JACOTéNé. “I get to bring the show I've been building overseas back to Australia and do it as my own headline run for the first time. I can't wait to be in a room with everyone and sing these songs together.”
JACOTéNé's sound draws on soul, alt-R&B and jazz, shaped by a childhood spent singing in church choirs and the influence of artists like Lauryn Hill and Amy Winehouse. Backed by her band, this live show will carry a rawness and presence that studio recordings only hint at.
The tour will hit Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney, giving Australian audiences their first chance to see her headline a stage of her own. Tickets on sale now.
