Led by Ashley Williams from Bindelong Aboriginal Corporation, this guided tour offers insight into a site that has been a place of gathering and food collection for thousands of years.
During 2025 the Museum of Art and Culture, yapang underwent a major transformation onsite with new footpaths and Awaba House redevelopment. Because of the sites cultural significance an archaeological assessment was undertaken, with several stone stools being uncovered in the process. Bindelong were instrumental in the interpretation of these tools and guidance.
Discover stone tools, midden sites and artefacts uncovered during the Awaba House redevelopment, while learning about traditional bush tucker, bush medicine and the enduring connection of the Aboriginal people to Country.
