What Objects Tell Us About Things
Hosted by Roseanne Bartley, Eli Giannini, Sue Buchanan.
In this slow, playful gathering, we propose to co-create a safe space for noticing the vitality that circulates through handmade objects: forces that hover, hum, and accumulate through material, touch, time, and making. Through low-tech sensory exercises, we invite participants to enter a field of attention that privileges attunement over analysis. Within this space, feedback loops shift away from habitual modes of critique, toward sensing, responsiveness, and a lively exchange that invites us to follow unfamiliar and unexpected lines of thought, feeling and making. Please bring along a piece of jewellery or an object you’ve made, an open-ended question to explore, and a readiness to see where your object might take you.
This event has disability access. Parking in the area is limited and we suggest using public transport to attend.
