Join Bistro St Jacques for a one-night-only Burgundy Wine Dinner on Wednesday 28 October, celebrating the food and wines of one of France's most renowned regions, in collaboration with Mosaique Wines.
Chef Brett has created a special five-course menu inspired by the culinary traditions of Burgundy, bringing together classic French dishes, beautiful seasonal produce and a selection of carefully matched wines.
The evening begins with delicate gougères filled with Comté custard, accompanied by a glass of Crémant de Bourgogne, followed by traditional jambon persillé, grilled asparagus with lemon sabayon, and monkfish in a rich red wine sauce. To finish, guests will enjoy a classic Burgundian fruit flan with orange syllabub.
Each course will be thoughtfully paired with a French wine selected by Mosaique Wines, including Chablis, Bourgogne Aligoté and Maranges Pinot Noir, offering guests the opportunity to discover the diversity of Burgundy's celebrated vineyards.
Whether you're a passionate wine enthusiast or simply love beautiful French food, this special evening is an opportunity to experience the flavours and traditions of Burgundy in the heart of Redfern.
