A free, community-run singles afternoon in Melbourne's east. Most singles events cost $30 to $50 a head and happen in the CBD, so Seabrook from Melbourne East Dating is running this one at Jells Park instead: no ticket price, no profit, just more chances to meet people who live near you.
How it works
Meet at T House at Jells at 2pm. On the walk you're paired with three different people in turn, swapping partners along the way, so you always have someone to talk to and nobody ends up trailing the group. Afterwards everyone settles onto the picnic mats for a picnic and BBQ together.
Who it's for
This first one is for 20 to 30 year olds. Sign-ups are kept to a one-to-one balance of men and women so the pairs on the walk actually work. Other age brackets are in the works for the same afternoon, so if 20 to 30 isn't you, join the Discord and keep an eye out. You don't have to live in the east, anyone is welcome.
