Join Sydney indie-pop artist ALLY GEORGE for a one-night-only experience unlike any show she’s performed before.
Set inside the iconic Lansdowne Hotel, "the year i turned eighteen" sees GEORGE share her newly released debut EP while stripping back songs from across her catalogue to their bones — returning them to the raw, vulnerable forms in which they were originally written.
Step inside the world of her mind, where the music is honest, revealing and always searching. These are songs that sit with the thoughts we keep in the smallest corners of ourselves — searching for hope, forgiveness, clarity, and the courage to tell the truth.
With a full band and additional atmospheric instrumentation, these reimagined arrangements blend singer-songwriter warmth with cinematic depth, offering a rare and intimate look into the stories and emotions behind the songs.
At the centre of it all is the release of GEORGE’s debut EP, "the year i turned eighteen", a body of work built around growing up, looking back, and learning what it means to choose yourself.
A special evening of reflection, vulnerability, and connection.
A space to hear the songs as they were born.
A reminder that the meaning is something we carry within us.
"the year i turned eighteen" — one night only.
