Meet Your Facilitator

Sharon Hurn, founder of Hallowed Breath is a former Clinical Nurse with over 20 years' experience in healthcare who chose to step away from conventional nursing and into a more holistic approach to health, wellbeing and healing.

Sharon brings a deeply trauma-informed approach to every session. Her background spans mental health, addiction, Aboriginal health, child health and complex community care, alongside postgraduate qualifications including a Master's degree in International Public Health. She has worked with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures both within Australia and internationally, bringing cultural humility, curiosity and respect to every person she supports.

As a mother of two grown daughters, who she raised on her own, Sharon also has lived experience of many of life's challenges.

Those who have worked with Sharon have often described as warm, compassionate and deeply present.
