Step into something meaningful at WAMIMS 2026!
Join us from 9am at the Williamstown Italian Social Club for our Walk A Mile In My Shoes mental health awareness walk for a morning of movement, connection and community spirit.
Walk a mile with us along the Esplanade and Botanical Gardens, then settle in for live entertainment, great food and drinks, family‑friendly activities and raffles packed with fantastic prizes. Wear something green and bring your friends, family and colleagues to show your support.
Since 2018, WAMIMS has raised over $208,000 and helped 23 schools create dedicated wellbeing spaces for young people. Every step you take helps spark conversations, reduce stigma and strengthen youth mental health.
Free to attend; donations welcome. Follow us on Instagram @wamimswilliamstown and on Facebook for updates. Lace up, wear green and walk with us - your mile makes a difference.
Key timings
9am to 10am - Arrival, collect WAMIMS mental health merchandise, raffle ticket purchase, speeches and exercise warm up.
10am to 10.45am - Cutting of the ribbon ceremony, then the Walk A Mile In My Shoes one-mile walk along the Esplanade and Botanical Gardens.
10.45am to 12pm - Entertainment, food, drinks and raffle draw.
