You have a problem.

It's not your fault.

No, you're not a bad dancer either - you just don't know what you're doing...yet!

Most studios don't teach real dance technique; if they do, it can be overwhelming or boring to learn when you just want to dance.

I mean let's be fair Ballroom dancing comes from stuffy ol' England where fancy complex words and cucumber sandwiches reign supreme but I digress.

Learning to dance should be fun, and easy, and you actually develop proper skills so you feel confident, look great, and even stun yourself with how good you can move to music as you give those finger guns a good wave.

But if you don't get the right mix of dance routine [adjusted for your level], technique like footwork, and how to count to music doing steps on their own will absolutely put a lid on your progress and leave you way more frustrated and end up giving up.

I have seen it happen hundreds of times over the last 13 years of teaching.

The saddest thing in a cemetery is not the body in the ground but the death of all the unfulfilled dreams, don't give up on something you could be good at!

So what's the solution?
