Field naturalist and Eaglehawk local Michael Barkla has spent years exploring and photographing the flora and fauna of the Whipstick Forest. His discoveries of rare invertebrates have made a big impact. Hear Michael’s stories, view his photographs, and come away with a new appreciation for the nature on our doorstep. A selection of Michael Barkla’s incredible photographs of inverabrates in the Whipstick will be on display throughout October at Eaglehawk Library.
