In the West, people often hear about the “tea ceremony.” But in China, tea has never really been about ceremony.
For us, tea is conversation.
People drink tea when they talk about life, family, work, memories, and ideas. Tea is simply the table that brings people together.
Learn about the facinating process behind the finest porcelain production, ancient tea fermentation techniques, markets where you can purchase prestigious tea pets, and the difference between green, white and red teas.
Participants will taste two different Chinese teas and discuss a range of topics about life in China (for example - did you know the average age of retirement in China is fifty? or that tea leaves can also grow on trees?)
Join RealChina and Celina to learn more about Chinese tea culture. Tickets are limited so be quick to book your spot.
