Teātru viesizrādes Melburnā 2026

Immediately after the annual gathering of Latvian diaspora theatres, “PLATS brīvSOLIS”, which will take place in Sydney from 2–5 October and will also celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Sydney Latvian Theatre, several theatre companies will travel to Melbourne to bring Victorian audiences two days filled with Latvian theatre.

Performing in Melbourne will be PLATS member theatres:

• Munich Latvian Amateur Theatre “Brecelis” (Germany)
• Latvian–Danish Association Amateur Theatre “Pūpols” (Denmark)
• London Theatre “Trepes” and Birmingham Little Theatre (United Kingdom)
• Bergen Latvian Amateur Theatre “LATiBergen” (Norway)
• Latvian Theatre in Italy “Momento” (Italy)

The guest performances will also feature the Jelgava Student Theatre from Latvia, as well as the Melbourne Latvian Theatre, which will present its latest production.

Tūlīt pēc ikgadējā diasporas latviešu teātru saieta "PLATS brīvSOLIS", kas no 2. līdz 5. oktobrim norisināsies Sidnejā un kura laikā tiks atzīmēta arī Sidnejas Latviešu teātra 75 gadu jubileja, vairāki teātri dosies uz Melburnu, lai arī Viktorijas skatītājiem dāvātu divas dienas, kas piepildītas ar latviešu teātri. Melburnā ar izrādēm viesosies PLATS biedrteātri:

• Minhenes latviešu amatierteātris "Brecelis" (Vācija)
• Latviešu–dāņu biedrības amatierteātris "Pūpols" (Dānija)
• Londonas teātris "Trepes" un Birmingemas Mazais teātris (Apvienotā Karaliste)
• Bergenas latviešu amatierteātris "LATiBergen" (Norvēģija)
• Latviešu teātris Itālijā "Momento" (Itālija)
