Class Description
Learn to inlay blocks of colour into your knitting with Intarsia. This workshop is designed by Pru Raymond to develop the skills required to successfully knit an intarsia project from project planning to weaving in ends.
Skill Level
This three hour workshop is suitable for novice knitters who can knit and purl, can read a pattern and have completed a few basic projects and are ready to play with multiple colours at a time. Ambitious beginners may this class too challenging.
Materials Required
Needles: 4 mm knitting needles (circular or straight)
Yarn: 4-6 colours of DK/ 8ply yarn in 10g balls.
Inclusions
You will be provided with expert teaching, written instructions and a morning tea including pastries, fruit, tea/coffee and more!
Materials are not supplied as part of the workshop fee. You are encouraged to bring your own or select "workshop kit" from Add ons when purchasing your ticket.

Pru Raymond has sold out knitting workshops and stackable retreats in yarn stores, knitting festivals and community centres Australia-wide, and in yarn stores on the east and west coast of USA.
Pru has worked as a qualified teacher for almost 20 years. She combines her expertise as a professional educator and her lifelong passion for knitting to develop original, engaging knitting workshops that are inclusive of all learners. Pru has an in-depth knowledge of diverse styles and techniques and demonstrates new skills in English, Combination and Continental Styles.
