MAGNT's Discovery Centre is a fun drop-in acitivity space to connect families to our current exhibitions through play-based learning. Guided by parents and carers, children can participate in activities that encourage creativity and nurture curiosity.

During NT School Terms*

Open Saturday - Sunday for drop-in activities | 10.30am - 12.30pm

NT School Holidays*

Open Tuesday - Thursday | 10.30am - 12.30pm

*Days and times are subject to change as the Discovery Centre is also our STEAM, Education and Public Program space.

Discovery Workshops during Term Time

Pre-booked STEAM workshops for Transition to Year 9 students.

Key Information for the Discovery Centre

Food and beverage, including take away hot and cold drinks for adults, are not permitted inside the Discovery Centre. Bottled water is allows.

Opening hours and days are subject to change without notice.

The Discovery Centre is not to be used as a free birthday party venue for children by parents.
