Join Melbourne-based creative director James Morris for an immersive hands-on workshop exploring how lighting can transform fashion photography into powerful visual storytelling.
Working inside an indoor environmental warehouse set, James will guide you through his creative approach to editorial lighting, demonstrating how the direction, quality and placement of light can influence the mood, atmosphere and narrative of an image. You'll learn how to make intentional lighting decisions that support your creative vision rather than simply illuminate a subject.
Putting theory into practice, you'll photograph a live editorial-style fashion shoot, experimenting with different lighting setups while receiving guidance and feedback from James. By the end of the workshop, you'll have a collection of fashion-inspired images and a stronger understanding of how to use lighting creatively to elevate your own photography.
