HEAD INJURIES (1979) – LIVE IN FULL + THE GREATEST MIDNIGHT OIL ANTHEMS
Some albums don't just capture a moment—they ignite a movement.
Released in 1979, Head Injuries marked the moment Midnight Oil found their unmistakable voice: fierce, uncompromising and impossible to ignore. It was the sound of a band on the verge of becoming one of Australia's most influential rock acts.
Now, THE OILS TRIBUTE brings this landmark album back to life, performing Head Injuries exactly as it was recorded—live, from the explosive opening notes to the final chord.
Then the energy shifts into overdrive with a second set packed with the songs that made Midnight Oil legends. Beds Are Burning, Power and the Passion, The Dead Heart, Blue Sky Mine, Forgotten Years, King of the Mountain and more are delivered with the passion, power and relentless energy that defined every Midnight Oil concert.
More than a tribute, THE OILS capture the urgency, intensity and unmistakable spirit of one of Australia's greatest live bands. It's loud. It's raw. It's uncompromising—and it's a celebration of music that still resonates as strongly today as it did four decades ago.
If you've ever stood in a crowd with your fists in the air singing every word, this is the show you've been waiting for.
Tickets are on sale now. Don't miss one of the most electrifying Australian rock tributes on the road today.
