Michelle Arnott (Artist in Residence, 2025) joins Simon Greiner and Kah Mun Tham (Artists in Residence, 2026) to discuss how the State Library of NSW's buildings and collections are a source of creative inspiration.
The ensuing artworks range from range from Michelle’s set of five paintings exploring shadows in and around the Library, to Simon’s large-scale cardboard sculptures, through to Kah Mun’s mapping exercises and fine-line drawings.

Fellows’ Forums are onsite panel events which are held on a seasonal basis. Using our collections as examples, Library Fellows explore some of the challenges facing historians today.
