Debussy’s Sonata for flute, viola and harp - written amid illness and war - anchors this program with its emotional ambiguity and shimmering Impressionistic colour. Balancing light and shadow, it invites both laughter and tears. Together with the Ravel and Leo Smit Trios, this program promises to take the listener on an emotional journey and bathe them in gorgeous, shimmering, lush sound.
