Community Mural Workshop

Over six sessions, you'll work alongside your peers and a professional mural artist to design and paint a large-scale mural that will be permanently installed at Pran Central Shopping Centre. The finished work will be displayed around the new community book exchange near the food court - a public artwork created by and for the Prahran community.

This is a group project. One mural. One shared vision. You'll work collaboratively on MDF panels in our art studio - the same professional surface used by muralists for large-scale installations. Once complete, the panels will be transported and mounted directly onto the wall at Pran Central. This isn't painting directly on the wall, but it is the real thing - a genuine mural process from first idea to final installation.

You'll experience everything that goes into making a mural: developing a concept, working from a real proposal, deciding what to create and why, planning the design across multiple panels, and bringing it all together as one finished piece. It's hands-on, collaborative, and deeply satisfying.

No experience needed. Just curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to make something together.
