Celebrate National Bird Week and explore one of Melbourne's best birdwatching sites.
You'll be a part of a guided walk with an expert bird-watcher, who will point out different species along a tried and tested birdwatching route at these beautiful wetlands.
There are many other animals you may come across if you are lucky, including the resident mob of kangaroos, as well as swamp wallabies, echidnas and wombats.
Enjoy a delicious breakfast of pastries, fruit and coffee afterwards at nearby Janefield Community Centre, and talk all things birds and wildlife with fellow enthusiasts.
