An exclusive Perth screening of POSSIBLE LOVE, the acclaimed new film from celebrated South Korean director Lee Chang-dong, ahead of its global Netflix release on 6 November.
Winner of the Silver Lion – Grand Jury Prize at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival, POSSIBLE LOVE marks Lee Chang-dong’s return to feature filmmaking after eight years. The film brings together an exceptional cast including Jeon Do-yeon, Sul Kyung-gu, Cho Yeo-jeong and Zo In-sung.
The story follows two married couples whose lives intersect when a documentary filmmaker begins filming a laid-off worker and his wife, gradually exposing differences in class, relationships, desire and the lives they have chosen.
This special event offers Perth audiences the opportunity to experience one of the year’s most acclaimed Korean films on the big screen before its Netflix debut, while celebrating the extraordinary international impact of contemporary Korean cinema.
