About

Take a closer look at the intricate processes behind the exhibition Anatomy Lessons in this special knitting workshop led by exhibiting artist Michele Beevors.

Have you ever wondered how Michele's remarkable knitted animal skeletons are made? Join the artist for a unique opportunity to learn more about her creative practice and the role of knitting in contemporary sculpture while creating your own miniature frog skeleton.

Throughout the workshop, Michele will share insights into her artistic process, the techniques behind her soft sculptures and the inspiration for her work. With her guidance, you'll knit your own skeletal frog to take home; a fascinating project for anyone with a love of knitting, animals, contemporary art and frogs!

Please note: This workshop is not suitable for beginners. Participants must be confident with the basic techniques of knitting and are required to bring their own knitting needles (size 2–4 mm). Materials for the frog skeleton will be provided.
