This masterclass explores how artists transform what they see.
Join artist Thomas Bucich for an immersive workshop exploring the journey from observation and classical drawing principles through to expression, experimentation and abstraction. The workshop is held in his working studio amongst the inspiring landscape of the Southern Highlands - Berrima, NSW.
Drawing upon over three decades of professional artistic practice, Thomas will share the unique techniques and processes he uses in his own mixed-media works on paper. Combining traditional drawing skills with unconventional materials, layering, washes, gesture and contemporary approaches to image-making, participants will discover new ways of thinking about and creating drawings.
Suitable for both beginners and experienced artists.
