The Head On Photo Festival 2026 returns 6 to 29 November, transforming Sydney into a photographic wonderland with featured, Head On-curated exhibitions at Bondi Pavilion Gallery and outdoor displays throughout Paddington Reservoir Gardens, along Bondi Beach and in the Sydney CBD. Our Open Program of local artist-run photography exhibitions runs Australia-wide giving photographers the chance to celebrate their art with their communities.
Since 2010, Head On Photo Festival has been your gateway to discovering stunning photography from across the globe by talented emerging and established Australian and international photographers. It’s the perfect chance to experience the world through captivating images and connect with fellow photography lovers.
Funding for this project had been provided by Create NSW, Waverley Council, City of Sydney, international governments, local small businesses, and the private sector.
