Do you identify as part of the LGBTIQA+ community? Ngutungka West Lakes is hosting a series of relaxed, welcoming art workshops where you can meet new people, get creative, and contribute to a community art project celebrating 🌈 rainbow identity, joy, pride and belonging.

Following this series, come join for the celebration event ‘Standing Proud’ which will be part of Feast Festival, November 2026 at Ngutungka! Can't make all of the sessions? Not a problem! You're welcome to attend any or all sessions in the series, and there's no need to have joined previous workshops.

About the artist Mitch Hearn Mitch is a queer multidisciplinary mixed media animator and illustrator working on Kaurna Country who has been teaching animation and illustration for over 15 years at various schools, libraries, gay bars, city councils and art galleries, and is currently lecturing at Adelaide University. When not working Mitch enjoys playing Dungeons and Dragons and eating weird, flavoured snack foods!
