What if there was a place where you could simply walk through the door and be welcomed?

No networking pitch. No need to impress anyone. No need to have it all together.

Just women meeting women.

Talking. Laughing. Sharing stories. Making new connections.

And perhaps discovering that somewhere along the way, we've become so busy doing life that we've forgotten how much we need each other.

Welcome to The Village Rising Collective.

This is our very first Melbourne gathering, and we'd love you to be there at the beginning.

Why a Village?

Life looks very different for women today.

We can be surrounded by people and still feel disconnected. We juggle careers, businesses, families, relationships, ageing parents, changing identities and the thousand little things nobody else sees.

And somewhere amongst all that doing, something can get lost:

community.

The friend you can call.

The woman who understands.

The conversation that makes you think.

The introduction that becomes a friendship.

The laughter you didn't realise you needed.

The feeling of walking into a room and thinking...

These might be my people.

That's what we're creating.

Not another place where women need to perform.

A village.

What happens on the night?

This first gathering is deliberately simple.

Metaxia and Sonya will introduce The Village Rising Collective, why we're creating it and the vision for what this community could become.

Then we'll do something increasingly rare:
