The LEARNT (LEarning from Alcohol (Policy) Reforms in the NT) is a study focused on examining the impact of the reintroduction of the Banned Drinker Register (BDR) alongside the minimum unit price, PALIs (Police Auxiliary Licensing Inspectors) and other location specific alcohol restrictions.
The research approach involved:
This talk will provide findings focused on Darwin, answer questions and discuss policy options.
The talk will be presented by researchers from Deakin University, Menzies School of Health Research, AMSANT and Congress.
This event is focused on Darwin findings (although some broader findings for the whole of the NT will be presented). Subsequent events will be held for Katherine and Tennant Creek, as well as the whole of the NT.
