To celebrate the release of their new album Before The Show, Tex Perkins and Matt Walker return to the stage for a series of special performances throughout September to November 2026.

Built on decades of friendship and musical collaboration, these shows showcase two of Australia's most respected artists at their most authentic. Performing songs from Before The Show alongside carefully selected favourites, Perkins and Walker deliver an intimate evening of exceptional songwriting, masterful musicianship and unforgettable storytelling.

Recorded largely as first takes, Before The Show captures the honesty and spontaneity that have long defined their partnership. Those same qualities come alive on stage, where no two performances are ever quite the same.
