We're taking over a patch of Queens Park for an afternoon of lawn games, shared snacks and (genuinely) good company.
The vibe
No dress code, no idea what "bochee" is? Doesn't matter, nobody's judging your bowling arm. Just a relaxed Saturday afternoon in the park with people who are also keen to meet new faces without the whole "networking event" energy.
How it works
You'll be sorted into a small mixed team when you arrive. Teams rotate through a few lawn game stations, bocce, giant Jenga, a couple of surprises, in short, easy rounds. Points are tallied purely so we have an excuse for a trophy ceremony at the end. Yes, there will be trophies. No, they will not be dignified.

🗓️ Saturday 7 November
🕓 4:00pm–6:30pm
🎟️ $20 per person — covers games gear, prizes and a shared grazing spread
Wet weather plan: Light rain won't stop play, we've got a shelter and gazebos on standby and the games just move undercover. If it's set to properly pour, we'll reschedule and let every ticket holder know by Thursday evening via email and Instagram.
Solo, in a pair, or dragging a friend along, everyone's welcome. Grab a ticket and we'll see you on the grass.
