Discover portrait painting without the pressure of color.

In this workshop we’ll use coffee as our paint to create expressive, sepia-toned portraits. Coffee gives you a beautiful range from pale latte to rich espresso — perfect for learning light, shadow, and form.

You’ll learn how to mix values, layer washes, and use dry-brush techniques to capture facial features, mood, and expression. We’ll work from a provided reference photo so you can focus on technique, not drawing from scratch.

Coffee painting is forgiving and creates a stunning vintage effect to your art and design. No prior painting experience needed.

All materials included: instant coffee, brushes, and paper. You’ll leave with 1 finished coffee portrait to frame.

Suitable for ages 12+ to adults

All materials will be supplied.

Bookings are essential.
