About

Keen to meet parents and carers in the Darwin local area with babies and toddlers of a similar age?

Introducing our FREE Friday Sensory Playgroup designed specifically for babies and toddlers aged 0- 2 years.

The sessions run fortnightly every Friday from Friday 2 October - Friday 30 October 2026, from 10.00am to 11.00am.

A different theme each week:

  • 2 October – Little Explorers 🌈
    Treasure baskets, texture mats, sensory bottles, scarves, bubbles and soft blocks for crawling and balancing.
  • 9 October – Messy Little Artists 🎨
    Taste-safe finger painting, hand and footprint art, sealed paint bags and sponge painting.
  • 16 October – Music & Movement 🎵
    Shakers, drums, action songs, dancing with scarves, bubbles and parachute play.
  • 23 October – Spring Garden 🌼
    Large leaves and flowers, garden sensory play ( I purchased some sensory plants for babies to pull for finger strength), bubbles …
  • 30 October – Little Monsters Halloween 🎃
    Pumpkin sensory play, Halloween music, bubbles, orange sensory play and a Halloween photo area.
