AFRODESI FT. MR SAJ (UK) - SYDNEY

About

Sydney, we’re bringing AFRODESI to The Oxford Art Factory for Daal N Bass Vol.6 - with MR SAJ at the controls and the dancefloor surrounding him.

A real 360° experience. Get close, find your people and become part of what’s happening.

BORN IN NEW YORK. CONNECTING CULTURES WORLDWIDE.

Founded in 2018, AfroDesi connects African and South Asian cultures through music and dance. With sold-out shows across London, Dubai, Nairobi and Dar es Salaam, the movement brings people together through rhythm, familiar melodies and a shared need to move.

Now, it’s Melbourne’s turn.

MR SAJ AT THE CENTRE.

AfroDesi’s Creative Director and Resident DJ brings the sound behind the movement: African rhythms, South Asian musical influences and his own AfroDesi edits.

Think the melodies you grew up with, finding a different life on the dancefloor. From Mere Rashke Qamar to Say Na Say Na, MR SAJ’s edits take familiar sounds somewhere unexpected.

YOU’RE PART OF THE SETTING.

A DJ at the centre. People dancing on every side. Energy passing between the booth and the crowd.

For our sixth volume, Daal N Bass brings global sounds and diaspora connection into one shared space. Come ready to stay with the groove.
