Join us at the Rethink Centre for a fun and interactive family event exploring what happens to your recycling and rubbish after it leaves the kerbside.
Discover the journey of household waste, learn how to recycle correctly, and see a working recycling factory in action through a live viewing of the Materials Recovery Facility.
Who should attend
This event is designed for primary school-aged children (5+) and their families. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
What to expect
Enjoy an engaging afternoon of recycling-themed games and activities while learning more about how household waste is sorted and processed.
You will have the opportunity to view the Materials Recovery Facility in operation and gain practical tips to help you recycle right at home.
