Do you have clothes that need mending, fixing up or adjusting and would like to do this with others to not only have a creative social outing but to get tips and tricks from others?

Not quite sure how to fix your garments or if you're on the right track? Need a second opinion about a mending project you're working on? Our ReDress Hub Repair Angels will also be available to give you a little more help, for a little extra.

Come along to The ReDress Hub for our Mending Table on the first Saturday of the month between 10-1:00pm, to get your repair projects started or completed.

What to bring:

We have most of the things you'll need such as sewing machines, scissors, basic coloured threads and an assortment of knitting and crochet equipment.

- Your mending project, either started or an idea for the project.

- Any materials that are specifically needed for the project: for example a matching button, a specific coloured cotton thread, the knitting needles or crochet hook you're using, the fabric you have chosen to match or style with your clothing

- An open mind and enthusiasm for 'giving it a go'!

Ticket prices and Booking:

Booking is strongly advised for the Mending Table as places are limited.

For a place at the Mending Table to relax with others while mending your garment with a cuppa and bickie $5 for the session, you can arrive at any time during the Mending Table timeslot.

For Repair Angel advice $10/hour - just book for the first hour and we'll amend this on the day if necessary
