We invite anyone who is retired or semi-retired to come along and meet some new, like-minded friends.
Probus is a social group for retired and semi-retired members of the community. The aim is fun and friendship. We meet once a month (usually the first Tuesday of the month) and also go on regular outings.
The next meeting of the Surry Hills Probus Club is on Tuesday 3 November at the East Sydney Community & Arts Centre, 34 Burton Street, Darlinghurst. (Arrive at 9.45am for a 10.00am start).
The meeting will feature a talk by Sam Almaliki, the Managing Director of Homesuite. Sam will be giving a presentation titled Downsizing in Retirement Made Simple. It will be a practical discussion about the decisions people face when considering a move from the family home, including lifestyle, location, finances, preparing for the move and the emotional side of downsizing.
As usual there will be an opportunity to chat over morning tea.
