KGV Recreation Centre is hosting social badminton led by North Sydney Badminton Club weekly on Wednesday evenings.

Badminton is a fun racquet sport that's easy to learn and suitable for all ages. It's played using racquets to hit a shuttlecock across a net. It takes place on a rectangular indoor court and it's a game for singles or doubles. Points are scored by striking the shuttlecock with the racquet and landing it within the opposing side's half of the court.

Badminton is a great way to improve your health and fitness, gain new skills while meeting new friends. It will improve movement and assist with coordination and hand eye skills.

Preferred standard is intermediate to advanced.

Please note that no accident/injury insurance will be provided.

Participants play at their own risk. If you have any concerns about participating in the sport, please speak with you medical professional. All players will need to book prior to attending the session.

Please bring your own equipment as there will be limited equipment available for use.
