Walk with us into the heart of Kings Park bushland and hear stories of treachery and deceit and uncover delightful donkeys, splendid spiders and fantastic fairies. Orchids are masters of disguise and experts in sexual deception - want to know more? These secrets and more will be revealed on this fascinating and awesome orchids walk.

Start Time: 10:00 am sharp. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early

Meeting Location: The Mia Mia at the entrance of the bushland nature trail, Forrest Drive, Kings Park

Duration: This walk is approximately 1.5 hours

Distance: Approximately 1.5 km

Difficulty: Easy to moderate, on made and sandy paths

Accessibility: NOT suitable for wheelchairs, prams or mobility aids.

What to wear and bring:

• Comfortable enclosed walking shoes recommended.
• Bring sunscreen, hat, water and a raincoat (weather dependent).

Weather conditions: This walk will go ahead if it is raining but in the event of severe weather it may be cancelled. Check the notices section of the Kings Park website for cancellation information.

BOOKINGS: Tickets are $10, not refundable except if cancelled by Kings Park Guides.

Our walks are popular so we ask that you please cancel prior to the day if you know you will not be able to attend. It is easy to do, just follow the instructions on the ticket you were emailed.
