Create your own live moss wall terrarium complete with lush moss varieties, tiny tiny plants and cork bark!
How does the wall stay upright? You will learn by joining this workshop, where you will create a live moss wall going up the back of the terrarium, complete with tiny plants and pieces of cork bark. You can choose to add some little figurines to your scape (think tiny houses and toadstools), or keep it natural. We will complete the build by adding in tiny insects called springtails, which act as the cleanup crew, eating any dead leaves and mould, making the terrarium bioactive.
What's Included:
All materials and tools for creating a live moss wall cork jar terrarium.
Care instruction leaflet and carry box to take home your new mini world.
Lots of fun and a safe space to learn and get creative!
This workshop could get (really) messy! Please dress accordingly.
This workshop is a bit more challenging than our beginner workshop offerings and can be fiddly but it is good FUN. It is suitable for ages 12+.
