In this hands-on studio workshop, you'll discover how different lighting styles can completely transform a portrait. Working alongside Toban and a professional model, you'll explore a range of classic and contemporary lighting techniques, including Butterfly, Rembrandt, High Key and Low-Key lighting, while learning how each approach influences mood, emotion and storytelling.

This workshop is designed to help you gain confidence in creating intentional and impactful portraits. You'll learn practical techniques for setting up your camera, directing and posing subjects naturally, and making the most of both studio and lighting.

Bring your own camera gear or take the opportunity to try Nikon's latest cameras, lenses, flashes and continuous lighting equipment throughout the session.
