The Berlin-based DJ and producer has built a close connection with Alix Perez’s 1985 Music through releases including the Fate and Mask Off EPs. His sound reaches from deep, cinematic drum & bass into soulful liquid and darker, more intense territory, with releases across Overview Music, Sofa Sound and Neosignal.
2026’s Runna EP on 1985 captures Submarine’s musical range. ‘Something Special’ draws on the soulful sound of early Alix Perez and SpectraSoul, while the title track pushes into twisted bass and heavy drums. The breadth of his productions carries through to his DJ sets, moving between styles with unexpected switches.
