Libraries house countless stories and not all of them in their pages.

For so many readers and writers, the library was where it all began. In their own books, acclaimed writers Susan Orlean (The Library Book) and Pip Williams (The Dictionary of Lost Words, The Bookbinder of Jericho) herald the noble library and its precious collection of books, ideas, words and stories.

In this special conversation, Susan and Pip discuss what libraries mean to them, sharing personal reflections and exploring how libraries nurture readers, writers and communities.
