This workshop is designed to bring community members together through creativity, sustainability and hands on learning.
Participants of all ages and skill levels will create unique jewellery from recycled and discarded materials while exploring the importance of environmental awareness and creative reuse. It provides a welcoming space where people can connect, share ideas, and discover that everyday objects can become beautiful works of art.
Participants will learn how materials can be cut, shaped, painted, woven and assembled into earrings, necklaces, bracelets, brooches and wearable art. The key message: almost anything can become jewellery with creativity and imagination.
What to expect:
Who Should Attend? Adults, young people (12+), families and community groups. Beginners and experienced makers all welcome.
What's Included? All recycled materials and tools needed to create your piece, and an original handmade item of jewellery to take home.
What Should I Bring & Wear? Recommend old clothes or an apron given materials include wire, glass and cutting tools]
