In this session, you’ll hear traditional stories of Country from Aunty Elaine and create your very own Yuka (canoe).

As part of this hands-on activity, you will write a personal message of caring for Country inside your canoe. You can then take your Yuka home as a meaningful keepsake and, launch it with your family in a symbolic act of respect and connection to country.

This session is suitable for children between 7-12 years; please take note when booking your child, children must be supervised by parent/ guardian during session.

Aunty Elaine provides a cultural experience. Creating and supporting a safe and comfortable environment where people come together to weave, craft and conversations flow effortlessly.

Bookings are essential - 1 ticket per child

This session is delivered as part of the 'All In' Reconciliation Science School Holiday Program and is suitable for children aged 7-12 Years. Parental or guardian supervision is required for all children under 12 years of age.

Although our skilled staff will be onsite parent/carers are responsible for the supervision of their children during the session.
