In this hands-on workshop, experienced illustrator and artist Jenni Goodman will guide you through the basics of Procreate, showing you how to use its creative tools, brushes, layers, and effects to bring your ideas to life. Whether you love drawing or have never tried digital art before, this workshop is designed for complete beginners.
What you'll do:
✅ Learn the fundamentals of digital drawing in Procreate
✅ Explore key tools and features that make creating digital art fun and easy
✅ Discover techniques to bring your drawings to life
✅ Get insider tips and inspiration from a professional illustrator
Participants can use a library iPad during the session or bring their own iPad with the Procreate app pre-installed (paid app).
Who's it for?
Teens who love art, storytelling, creativity, or want to try digital drawing for the first time.

About the presenter: Jenni first dove into the wonderful world of children’s book illustration in 2018.
Jenni uses different mediums to create her artworks including watercolour paints and pencils, both coloured and graphite, as well as digital media. She loves capturing the beauty of nature and expressive characters in her illustrations.
Jenni's tenth book Flute: A Dolphin's Wild Journey Home (2025) is a CBCA Notable Book, in the Eve Pownall category 2026.
