In this special Sydney Craft Week workshop, textile artist Amy Jones guides you through creating a stunning coral-inspired embroidery piece in gorgeous shades of blue. Think sea shells, sea urchins, glass beads and a natural pearl — all worked in wool and cotton threads on fabric and finished in a hoop.
Amy’s work is rooted in botanical and natural references, and this workshop captures that dreamlike, meditative quality perfectly. You'll leave with a unique piece of textile art and a handful of new techniques to carry into every project you make.
